I am a Portrait photographer who captures striking images of people in ordinary and extraordinary locations. I do this for corporate, advertising, editorial and private clients. I have been fortunate to shoot for many great companies including Cornell University, The Italian Trade Commission, Consumer Reports Magazine, Ezra Magazine, Gagosian Gallery and Damien Hirst.
Always a hobby in the early 1990’s I took a photo class at the New School. By the time the first class was over I was hooked and knew that I would be doing this for the rest of my life. My passion and love for photography has only grown stronger since that first class.
Clients have come to depend my vision and over 13 years of experience. Experience means listening to clients so we can collaborate and create exciting images. Experience means preparation, and never being caught without the tools to complete the job even if the parameters shift while on location. Experience means that my clients trust me.
When I am not photographing either work or personal projects, like all good photographers I live in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Though unlike most I am a native and unapologetically proud of it. I am the father of a middle school girl and a high school boy, and am extremely involved in my community. I was recently invited as a resident and local businessman to an intimate breakfast with Mayor Bloomberg to talk about Greenpoint and the issues it faces. For the last year I have been a member of the faculty at Wager College.
